Hello I'm back from BKK again! It's my second trip there this year, this time round I went with Mummy, Grandma, Uncle, Aunt and Heng! So there's actually not much shopping!

I'm here to post random snippets from my instagram!

Dear and me went for Japanese Buffet the other day with Chelle, Nigel, Haoguang, Xiao Mei, Jeff and Li En the day before I flew off to BKK!

We ate at Honjin Ala Carte Dinner Buffet located in between Tanjong Pagar and City Hall!

Original price was $48++ (as you can see from the menu below) but we bought vouchers hence it was only around $25 per pax! (including GST and Service Charge)

Food was rather good but the variety is not much! T.T

Ate a lot a lot of Salmon Sashimi (MY FAVOURITE) YUMSSSS

On the cab on my way to Changi Airport Terminal One!

We took Thai Airways this time round and the service was really good!

Too bad there isn't a small teevee in front of every seat though D:

So I spent my time eating and listening to music!

Yay we checked in and I took the opportunity to camwhore in the toilet #zilianttm (as usual)

Food was great :D I always order something with raw salmon cos I think the salmon at Ichiban is damn good and fresh! Was at work before that (I have work every sunday for the whole day) so I was wearing my MGG blazer and TVD top w jeans!

Manage to capture this picture with a huge rainbow in school while studying early in the morning! :D

DAMN PRETTY and it really cheered me up the whole day!

Post-exams activity ONE!

Out with Quy to Suntec for IT fair BUT something epic happened D:

We thought the IT fair was at Suntec but it was actually held in Expo so we wasted our main motive for going Suntec!

So in the end, we walked the whole BOOK fair instead and went for a walk at Marina Square after that!

Love wearing maxi dresses cos it's damn comfy and won't zhao geng!

Paired it with my MiuMiu inspired sparrow cardigan from FEP and shoes from Mondo XD

Saw this damn pretty Xmas tree with snow propelling out from the top at one of the shops, as well as a Mad Hatter Rabbit in the very same shop! Cute max!

Dinner was at the food court at Marina Square and they renovated the place! Tried out their Korean BBQ Chicken and it's really good!

Post-exams outing TWO was with Yuennie and XMS friends!

Me and Yuen roamed Bugis whole day but we didn't buy anything from Bugis Street!

IKR! How we even manage not to buy a single item from Bugis Street right???

Camwhoring at the toilet as usual! #zilianttm

Was telling Yuen that one piece of toilet paper dropped onto the ground while I was still in the toilet so I wanted to use my feet to push it nearer to me so I can pick it up BUT instead I pushed it to the next cubical instead! =X

After that was dinner with XMS friends at Food for Thought! Wanted to try that out for the longest time cos I heard the reviews were rather good. But we were sorely disappointed cos the breakfast set actually ends at 6pm and we only reached there at around 8pm :(

Post exams outing THREE was with NUS friends at SSIKKEK BBQ located opposite Novena Church!

DAMN DELICIOUS YUMMMMMMMS

Post exams outing FOUR was with dear and then meet up with "The Awesome Bunch" for dinner!

Saw this hilarious turkey display at Takashimaya HAHAHAHHAHA

Then while walking from Orchard all the way to Bugis I saw Yuennie and Eli!!! :D :D :D

Denise gave all of us this Hello Kitty Lollipop!
Dinner was at AH LOY THAI (DAMN NICE THE FOOD I TELL YOU) and then I tried the SALTED EGG ICE CREAM from TOM'S PALETTE (Taste like mooncake that salted egg)!
Then we went to Ah Chew Desserts and I had their Mango Sago!
And lastly it was to Timbre and I had Bulmers!

Received many many samples to try out in my mailbox!

Shall attempt to do a small write-up at the end of my post for the samples!

First up is Acnes 3 steps kit!

Although the sample is rather small but it's enough for use for around 5 days!

I love the facial form! It has this lemon smell which smells really good and it wasn't too drying as well and felt good on my skin!

The powder and the sealing gel have this weird pimple smell though! :(

It didn't really clear up my pimples but it actually prevented more pimples from popping up which is really good! ^^

I will give it 3.5 stars out of 5!

Second one is Strawbbie Lipbalm from Lipice!

Actually I really like the balms from Lipice as they are cooling and smells good! :D

But the sample is super small and look like a tampon =/ and the stick broke when I tried applying it on my lips so I had to throw it away w/o using it at all! =(

SUCH A WASTE!!!

But I bought the Grape flavour balm yesterday!!! <3 Gonna try it and then let you guys know the review soon!

Just to report that I'm still alive although this picture was taken quite some time ago with Nat! ^^ And I think my hair look damn nice there (not denying that I cut my fringe myself again! HAHA)

Will be back in 2 weeks' time after my horrible stupid exams which I am struggling to study for now. SIGH.

Bangkok Trip (June 2011)

BKK JUNE 2011

Just a quick update on my trip to BKK during June 2011 [4D3N] with Nat and my aunt! :)

The last time I only posted all my camwhore pictures on the plane right?

Now it's time for the rest of the trip le! ^^

Okay finally we reached BKK airport! :D

The weather was great, although it was a little on the hot side! But it's bearable :]

Checked into our hotel and Nat is photobombing me behind! Haha

Then we were on our way to Chinatown on the bus! Their bus is super old and there was even a attendant to clip the amount you need to pay for the ride. The attendant super super pro one! She can remember all the people who boarded the bus and she even have to squeeze through everybody just to get to you if you're sitting at the back. I think the super super old bus system in Singapore also works the same way in the past, way before I was born! And I think it cost us barely 30 cents to take the ride which was around 20 minutes!

Then we had our delicious dinner place that my uncle (who joined us after his work) brought us to. This super yummy claypot of Shark's fin only cost us close to $10 bucks! And it's 2 person to share one claypot! :) YUMMY!

Then we found a place to eat dessert, Bird's Nest (which I highly suspect is fake) at the roadside stall. It only cost us $1.50 per bowl so confirm is fake one!!! And opposite the road was the famous stall selling thailand tidbits! The pig is super cute right! #GONGXIFACAI!

This hawker is selling fruit juice and he is using a super old kind of method to squeeze the juice out of the fruits! Super fascinating!

At the Thailand tidbits stall which I bought super a lot of food to bring back! :D This poor crocodile (there's another one at the back of the stall) is a real crocodile! I think they preserved it (see the cut at the lower belly). =/ Everybody was damn fascinated with it though. #GONGXIFACAI again

Okay so back to the hotel to rest... bought some fruits to eat.

And it's DAY 2 already! Breakfast at the hotel lobby! :]

Okay basically we roamed all over the place to find the famous Zebra Stainless Steel shop and Petra porcelain wares for a few hours. A super tired me at the Central departmental store where we finally found the porcelain wares!

Then we walked over to Central Shopping Centre which sells all the branded stuffs like Topshop, Forever 21, etc. We were there for NARAYA! :)

We spent a few hours in NARAYA cos Thailand is basically famous for it and I finally got connected to the Wifi at the place ^^ Bought quite a few items to give friends/ family members! Then we went to eat our late lunch at MK restaurant, super yummy! Our steamboat filled with mushrooms (which is Nat's favourite) and I ordered green noodle as well (which is my favourite) together with some plates of meat, vege and drinks!

The receipt even came with the nutrition value for 1 person for all that we ordered! #damncool

Our bagsss of stuff (and a huge box of Zebra wares) LOL

Okay this is damn epic I tell you. Okay the story goes like this. I took out my camera after coming out of the restaurant intending to snap this huge mouth which I think was damn cool and artistic. Then my aunt actually exclaimed damn loudly and pointed at the man sitting there (if you look close enough you can still see him) and said "You wanna take a picture of the shuai ge over there ah?" -__________-" So apparently he heard and did a cheese sign for me. ULTIMATE EMBARRASSING. Cause he's not even shuai can???

So we left and cabbed back to hotel to dump our shopping loots there and went for round 2 of shopping! This alleyway is rather near our hotel and it leads us straight to Platinum Shopping Mall!

I bought these beautiful rings for around $1plus for the owl and $2plus for the star. Damn cute right! They were having clearance sale so apparently they are the last rings left for these designs.

Then we had a simple dinner at Mcdonalds' (cos it was so late and all the shops closed LOL) and headed to do a foot massage! Then we went back to the hotel to... KO. And then it was Day 3 already O_O

Went to the hotel's garden for a morning stroll! It is damn beautiful!

Then we left for platinum again because platinum was so big (they had two annexs of 6 floors each)! On our way we saw this super super cute little dog!

And I finally got to eat my Japanese food at Fuji Restaurant!

Did manicure and pedicure but I think their service sucks!

Then we headed down to Siam area for shopping! First stop, Siam Central! The toilet signs are so cute, they look like they need to use the toilet damn urgently LOL. Okay basically there was a night market outside Siam Central but there were SO MANY COCKROACHES running about the stalls. =/ I was damn scared lah! Apparently got some construction work nearby so all the cockroaches were running out from the site. The stall owners (girls all around my age) didn't seemed affected by the cockroaches running about can! There were like almost 100++++++!!! And I saw beautiful cupcake rings but didn't stop to buy cos RUNNING AWAY FROM COCKROACHES > BEAUTIFUL CUPCAKE RINGS! :(

Then we headed down to MBK... and ate nice Thai food there! Back to the hotel to pack!

Last day in BKK and guess who I saw! MARIO!!!!!!!!!!! Awwwww :D :D :D

Hello everybody! Time flies damn fast, it's already week 8 and we are more than half-way through the semester! D: I'm kind of dreading the examinations because this sem is really damn heavy and difficult :( But nvm, I shall just cheer myself up by posting lotsa camwhore pictures of myself LOL. Some pictures are super outdated (i.e. like the first few photos taken before the semester starts on my BKK trip with my dearest cousin Natalie and my aunt! :D

#1. I went for dear's scholarship ceremony at Ritz Carlton with his parents and it was a super grand ceremony with many many other scholars there as well! Saw a few familiar faces there as well! Had fun taking pictures (my favourite hobby LOL) but I hate the mingling part cos I feel that it's too business orientated :/ I really cannot bring myself to talk to a stranger just for the sake of speaking! Damn jialat I think. Next time when I start work, it will be always this case! ARGH :(

#2. Had fun singing K at PartyWorld one day during the summer holidays! :D They had this promotion so I sang for 3-4 hours for 10 bucks plus a drink and tidbits! Super love my hairband! NICE NOT :D

My 21st Birthday!

For my 21st birthday, I had a mini gathering for my relatives (who insisted that I have one). HAHAH I didn't want to have a birthday party as it would be super troublesome since it's during the school term and also due to the failure of my 18th birthday party. :P I also had a private celebration with Mak! ^^ My birthday celebration was to USS as well as a Hello Kitty Helium Balloon (My wish was to receive one since I was 16!) :D :D :D Super enjoyed myself at USS cos all the rides were great and the queue was not that horrible (longest queue was 15 mins!)

In addition, I also had a mini gathering with 06/07 clique at Fish&Co in Tampines One! They are super cunning okay! Hahaha Soot firstly said she wanna go toilet and insist that I go with her, then she pretended that she don't know the way to the toilet and took one whole big round to the toilet (including peering out to the roof top garden -.-" Obviously no toilet there right!). Then I only ate a little as well as my birthday cake and they had the whole restaurant to sing Happy Birthday song to me! Super paiseh :/ Hahaha its a Fish&Co tradition though! Really had a lot of fun and the girls are super sweet!!! Btw they shared a Nintendo DS with my uni friends!

Next up is the celebration I had with my besties recently! It's a combination of my birthday and Yuen's cos we were too busy to meet up during the school term! We took super a lot of pictures (being the camwhores we are) in RamenPlay @ 313 Somerset! Obviously I'm the earliest to reach despite it being right after my work! Rushed all over the place to get Yuen's presents cos me and fel couldn't find a time to meet up! Below is the picture of their sweet birthday present for me: a carved necklace of my chinese name! Thank you besties for the wonderful birthday card and pressie! ^^

The next birthday meet-up (again during the holidays) was with tj climbers! We also combined the celebration: my birthday and Chelle's birthday! Dinner was at Mad for Garlic which is super super nice, although we ordered too much food and nearly cannot finish as a result. Haha! Yu xin's zai camera had no battery after 4 pictures -.- so in the end we took this photo with my iPhone at one of the toilets in Citylink!

One of the earlier celebrations was at Timbre @ Substation! :) I celebrated with my uni friends and we had lots of fun drinking and eating their pizzas! The only bad thing is that we didn't manage to snag a seat outside so we had to self-entertain ourselves inside Timbre as we couldn't hear/see the band at all! :( But we still managed to self-entertained quite a bit! Thank you people for the Nintendo DS!!! (Together with Zhen Qing and TJ 0607 clique!)

YAH- One of the earlier celebration again! This was held at Katherine's house and we celebrated all the January and February babies' birthday, as well as Chinese New Year! :)

Hello!

I'm sorry for taking so long to write this blog post! It's because there's something wrong with my % (which takes damn long btw) and then refresh and then say it failed. -.-

Sian ttm lo! But anyway it is so much better here in school, the upload speed is like 100X faster lo! =)

Anyway I'm blogging about 21st birthdays today! :D

It's really a whole 8 months of birthday parties! HAHAH I love attending parties YAY~

I will start with the most recent one first! This was early august and the birthday girl is DENISE! Her party got like 80++ guests can! Damn scary :D HAHA almost no place to stand in her NSRCC Chalet! This photo was taken way before all the rest of the guests came!

This was one of the earlier birthday that I attended! It was a DISNEY dress up theme and we all dressed up as characters from DISNEY! Can you guess what I'm dressed up as? :{ Birthday girl here is Lijie and she booked the whole mini cafe for her party! It's damn nice!!!

P.S: I'm dressed up as LILO from Lilo and Stitch! But they all thought it's Pocahontas! :(

Another early birthday party! My super long time friend- Junkiat's! This was during Jan at Loyang chalet!
This was taken during March at Timbre! We were celebrating Henry's birthday and it was his treat! The funniest thing that happened was that we submitted a dedication to him stating Happy Birthday Ji Rui! (His chinese name!) Super hilarious lah!

Another march baby! My another longest friend: EUNICE! :D This was taken at Kbox Cine! She spent a bomb booking the whole room and the room was freaking big! Her party theme was Colours of my life BUT I wear until damn ugly cos I came right after a YAH event! Wanted to go home to bath and change but I would be super late so I didn't in the end :(
BESTIE'S BIRTHDAY!!! :D This was taken in May at a Loyang chalet! My lovely Yuen turned 21!!! :D :D :D And her party theme was Red &/or Black! So I adhered to her party theme but on realization, I look super ugly in red! HAHA! Happy Birthday To You Yuennie!!!! Besties forever!

This was taken in June at NSRCC and it was GWYN'S BIRTHDAY! I went with some of the climbers after work and I changed into my Bohemian dress cos the theme was Floral and Bohemian Style! :)

Burger Shack and Marble Slab

Went down to Burger Shack late last month to have a casual dinner after Soo's work!

It's located near NUS Law School (actually not very near haha, about 250m)!

Here's the map if you wanna go there!

Anyway I had a burger set with coffee, Soo and Boon Jun as well!

Makmak has a chicken chop look-alike (forget the name le) that I feel is so much more worth it than our burger set!

The burgers weren't up to expectations actually :( :( :(

They were damn tiny (like my palm's size) and the meat was too hard for my liking!

After having the (not so full) dinner, we went down to eat ice-cream at Marble Slab Creamery near by! :D The two shops are both under the same company but they are located about 100m away from each other! I tried a bit of the ice-cream as I couldn't take cold stuffs, it was delicious! But I feel that the price is a lil steep!

But all in all we had a great time! :D :D :D

Long Overdue Hong Kong Trip

Finally got myself to blog about my december 2010 HK trip! :)

Okay actually its not a full blog post but still.. better than nothing right!

So basically this blog post is all about HK Disneyland, the main highlight of my trip! And also a little on the Hello Kitty Fair in Jordon Shopping Center.

Hong Kong Disneyland was damn cute! But if you're looking for thrilling rides, I don't think you should go there! Because there's only ONE pathetic 'thrill' ride which is the indoor coaster.

Point to note: I only blogged about random stuffs there and not ALL the stuffs I did there (cos too much to blog about le, lazy~~~)

#1. WINNIE THE POOH RIDE :D

I secretly took the picture and oh no, it caught me on camera-in-camera! Hee (my aunt taking picture of me!)

#2. In front of the Castle! :) Heehee. Okay basically the castle is currently covered in PIXIE DUST! (For the season) Super nice.

JUST WHAT I NEED FOR TODAY TO CHEER ME UP!

Today seems like a nua day in a midst of busy-ness.

Why do I say so? Sounds contradictory ehs?

Because I have meeting early in the morning at 10am till around 4pm and then mugging in school for the rest of the day.

But I have been watching Youtube videos such as Secret's Shy Boy MV (DAMN NICE), playing WII, guitar hero, monopoly deal and tabletop soccer.

Such irony.

Anyway I wanna share something about today's meeting with you guys.

At the start of the meeting, we each shared something that made us happy this week/ today.

My answer was: "Actually I'm not very happy this week, especially today, because I have a total of 5 papers to write. They're a huge source of headache."

On further thought, I could barely remembered what happened this past week. Assignments discussions, tutorial presentations etc have been keeping me on a high stress level.

The only thing I remember being happy about was inventing a dance move for 你是我的花朵.

Pathetic right? O.O

Oh wells, the little things that made us, or rather, me happy :)

Good luck to me in finishing the 5 papers! D:

On a side note, I just wanna say something about what I wrote on twitter weeks ago.

I had my tutorial presentation for my technology class and it went really bad.

I totally broke down after that and was in really bad mood for days.

Someone said that if you do something for 200 times, something will eventually go wrong in an instant.

So I guess I'm into my 200th tutorial that day? :(

Thanks to my Golden Village Movie Club membership, I've got a One-For-One Movie Deal for my birthday! YAYS=)

So I went to watch "Just Go With It" with DEAR! :D

Only $7.50 for 2 tickets!

It was an extremely nice show so I will recommend you all to go watch it (although it had been out for quite some time already)! Super hilarious parts, especially the parts with regards to 'failed' plastic surgery. And the movie also had lots of scenes with hot girls!

Bad cough/ Recess Week

Oh man. And I actually went to polyclinic to consult doc but after finishing 2.5 bottles of cough syrup, I'm still coughing! :( :( :(

Actually she cut and dyed/ highlighted her hair, while I cut and perm cause' due to work, I couldn't dye/highlight my hair BOOHOO

Short rant before I turn 21

Just a quick post before I turn 21 in exactly 2 hours and 19 mins. Can't believe I'm gonna be 21 so soon, I feel like I'm still in secondary school please. Sigh. Time flies.

Like what Eunice said, "Yeah I'm turning 21 soon, don't know whether its a good thing or bad thing." Anyway she dropped by my house today to pass me a handmade photo frame with our old photos, damn sweet can! And and and, I almost forgot to mention: Eunice's one of my oldest friend! 14 years and counting! :D THANKS GIRL!

I gotta grow up and be like a 21! That's gonna be a tough road down but I'm not totally giving up on being young too! It has its perks and makes me happy :) but sometimes I really need to be more matured! (I got a feeling that this is gonna be used against me next time :/)

New printer FTW! && Everything with fries

This is a super random post about this new all-in-one printer that I got (for free) just yesterday!

It's the HP Color LazerJet 2840 and it weights a freaking 34kg. T.T

Its like only 8 kg lighter than me which is so ridiculous?!

Anyway here's a condensed version of how I got this new printer for free! :D

My friend @victortan retweeted a tweet by @fooie:

"Anyone want HP Color Laserjet 2840 for FREE? Huge ass & expensive, office disposing. MUST be collected from Suntec today!"

So I replied him and say "I want!" And baby drove us and BJ to collect the printer (which costed us $2 because of stupid ERP) and back to drop it off at my place in between lessons! (Y)

So now I have a lazer printer, so happy lurhs! (: (: (:

21st birthday part(y/ies)

It's 2011! And the utmost important thing on everybody's mind (of my age) now is most probably their 21st birthday! (Or maybe school, for once?) Hahaha. But anyway, back to my topic on the most esteemed 21st birthdays, for me, I think I will just skip holding a party this year (although it seems important to my family that I do so) because of many many reasons. My apologies people, but do remember my present! Hahah *thick skin*

Well well, school started and my my, I'm already in Year 2/ Semester 2. (Apparently to my uncle, I'm graduating this year lol) Lotsa decisions to make and I'm kind of stuck with 2 options: Minor OR Double Major? :(

I just hope this semester ends fast and on a good note and let me have a well-deserved break in May-July! YAYS :D (Or maybe I MIGHT have internship sigh)

On a side note, I've decided to continue teaching until 2012.

If not I will have no pocket $$$, I'll be damn sad and broke.

I suddenly miss blogging long posts.

Just finished reading through Jan 2010 posts and I realised I didn't make any new year resolutions last year. Actually I thought I did. Cause every year I'll wish for myself to grow fatter. And I really fulfilled that resolution this year. Proud to announce that after nua-ing for a year, I'm now 43kg :D Anyway, back to the subject about new year resolutions. Actually most of us tend to lose all memory by the time we reach chinese new year, which is usually in end jan/ early feb. Some people say "I wanna lose fats!" and gorged themselves when CNY comes. Hahaha epic fail.

On a side note, I have a new nickname for myself: Wild Mermaid Zoe O.O

HEHEHE. Sooner or later I think I'm gonna have a even newer nickname for myself: Siao Ding Dong Zoe.

Hi World,

It's been an insane week, with all the studying and chiong-ing for exams. But somehow I realised I think I can't finish studying in time and I get random panic attacks again. I hate the last minute additions to our reading lists and all the thick huge stacks of papers lying next to me called readings. Sigh. I wonder when I'll be able to finish them all and finish studying for exams coming up just next sat! :(

After what happened for dinner yesterday with Yuen, I'm gonna label my lappy so that people can return me if 'choy choy choy' I misplace it somewhere, somehow. And and and, I just wanna thank all the great people in the world with kindness that returns things and not stick with the "finders-keepers" philosophy.

I'm finally back from all the mad rushing of essays and papers to be handed up.
Phew I'm so happy that I actually survived. HAHA now I'm left with just one more to complete by monday :]

MEET UP WITH 6A

Anyway on Thursday 4th November, the XMS 6A gang met up for dinner again! Can't believe that we've graduated 8 years ago and still meets up till today! Actually credits go to Eunice, my friend for 13 years and counting! :D She's always our planner (hehe); once a planner, always a planner! :) We went to Astons @ Cathay and the queue was horrible. Queued for more than an hour and finally we got in! Some of them even changed their orders cause we were starving! Fish is apparently not filling. HAHA

I’m proud to announce that Youth Advolution For Health (YAH for short) is organizing a camp named SUPER Y CAMP for all youths this coming December on the 17^th to 19^th at MOE Changi Coast Adventure Centre, 9 Changi Coast Walk Singapore.

You’ll see that we care for you! ♥

Transportation will be provided because the camp site is rather hard to access, it’s situated just next to the aeroplane runway and it saves you all the trouble to walk all the way in and tire yourselves out!

As some of you may know, YAH did a mass street outreach-cum-night performance for its 4^th birthday bash last year. It was a huge success and everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves! J I can still vividly remember all the months of hard work put in for the planning and also for the street outreach in the day, but all our efforts definitely paid off with more than 3600 youths out there who pledge being healthier and the night event to celebrate our success!

This year, the organization committee decided on a camp format so as to spearhead youth advocacy efforts for 2011 through a fun and engaging way!

Complain #1: I hate camps! It’s just like army L

Stop complaining coz we’re not going to torture you! *Evil Laughs* We’re not evil army commanders that orders you to knock it down just because of a teeny weesy mistake you make! No worries, we’re a nice bunch of people you know!

Complain #2: Camps makes me dirty and smelly! L

Look at the pictures below! I can assure you that it’s not dirty at all! You can just bathe to get rid of your bodily smell! If you don’t bathe, I think it’s not only you that will complain, your buddy sleeping next to you will too!

Complain #3: Health camp? Turn-off! L

We are not the government board. We don’t tell you that you have to do this, do that; follow this rule, follow that rule! Health is supposed to be a fun thing; it’s supposed to make us feel better! That’s what the camp will make you feel- BETTER and YOU’LL FEEL GOOD!

OMG I'm like dying trying to catch up with writing my food journal!!!

I'm like lagging behind for like 2 weeks and the stupid me finally realized that doing the food journal online is so much easier!

So now I'm stuck typing out whatever I had already written! :(

Yeah I finally got rid of my craving for shopping (not totally 100% though) thanks to yuennie! :D Hahaha I love her to bits!~ Woooooo! We went bugis on weds and I sorta went crazy when we got there. Bought a hair band, 2 bags, 1 top and 2 skirts :D Mad love!

COOKING/ HEALTH FOOD TUTORIAL

On thurs I went to Dasen's house for our group's cooking tutorial! :D We went grocery shopping at NTUC and bought >$30 (oopsss) worth of groceries! Phoebe was great at cooking AND eating; she really eat a lot and still so skinny!!! Cooked lemon chicken pasta, steamed cabbage wrapped bacon and fried popiah filled with cheese and ham! SUPER SUPER NICEEEEE~~~~ I think we can just quit school and open a shop selling all these lah! And we bought green tea and fruits jelly to pamper ourselves but I was too full to eat my jelly :( After that we dropped by Anchorpoint to the GNC for our health food tutorial and shun bian went shopping together HAHA

MOONCAKE FESTIVAL

Thurs night was mooncake festival celebrations with dear and his ESE friends :D Had fun playing with sparklers and we actually hung our lanterns on the archi's structure! :p Was joking that we'll burn the whole place down and then too bad, no more project to hand up! HAHAHAHAH :D On a side note, I love it when we're in siao siao mode and keep singing crazy songs. Damn high!~

I was just looking through old photos and I realized how much I missed doing stupid fun things with Yuen! Haha I can still remember us wearing our PROM DRESSES out on Christmas Day when we were in secondary four and we received so many stares from the passerby! And while we were out working at a roving restaurant as waitress, we took the party hats and started cam-whoring on the mrt at midnight and I suppose those people that saw us thought we just had a great new year party but we were sadly working on new year's day night! I suppose that now we're like all "grown-up", its kind of hard to do stupid things anymore. :( But I suppose, just for once, I wanna do stupid fun things before I actually grow up!

It really sucks when you did your readings for tutorials and yet so many of your tutorial mates didn't do it and then the tutor cannot go through it (although there's so many things that you don't understand and wishes to understand!) T.T

Sigh. School's really making me turn into a MONSTER! RAR!

I feel so mean saying this but I really spent a lot of effort in understanding the readings. D:

Today's soci of food tutorial was great! So happy that Shuyan is in the same tutorial as me and from there I got to form a group with people that I actually know :) Got a few bad experiences with forming project groups with people that just don't really care :S It's really xinku lah!

Anyway school's really tiring these days. It's like an endless stream of readings. But I feel that its due to the long 3 months holidays that we had. Hmmm only consolation is that I love what I'm studying! A big one actually. But I just don't like the idea of studying just for the sake of examinations/ tests. Should be more of a being more knowledgeable and stuffs. Heh. Ciaos!

Hmmm. Writer's block for the last few/ a lot of months made me a little dementia now...

HERE IT IS!

Last friday I went to EVERYTHING WITH FRIES (its at holland v in case you don't know, and you guys should go try the nutella shake: its SUPER!!!) with a few of my friends and met a new girl D.

She got through ALL the interviews to become a SIA stewardess and is currently contemplating whether or not to sign the papers officially.

(Btw she just graduated from university, not some drop-out kk! Don't assume!)

It made me feel so useless/sad because being a air stewardess was/ used to be MY DREAM! (And many other girls' too, surely!)

Okay I gave that up ever since I knew that I'm not THAT healthy, don't wanna fall sick halfway through a plane ride..

Imagine being 100 ft in the air and you fall sick ---> Ultimate horrible can! :O

But I really love being able to travel round the world, especially to Europe where just one air ticket costs a bomb! But you don't have to pay anything/ and even get paid to travel there!!!! SHIOK MAN :D :D :D And all the shopping WOOHOO I'm zi-high already. HAHA :) and having a pretty uniform for work! (I have a preference for uniforms rather than home clothes/ office wear :X)

Oh well, I can now only dream of being a millionaire and travel round the world!

YAY, I'm so great at consoling myself HAHA

Been so long since I last blogged, even my stupid blogger.com forgot me!

Gonna rant so WARNING! You can just click the X at the top right hand corner (for windows), top left hand corner (for Mac) if you don't wanna read about my complains! :)

WORK

As some of you guys know, I'm working every sunday as a piano teacher and the contract only ends next year. (9 to 5 job TSK, with around 12 students in just one day.) Sometimes I really get so tired and fed-up with my job, especially having to report every sunday and teaching them even when I have exams the very next day and I can't finish studying. And the best thing is that they're all having holidays. Oh man, the stress. O_O

There's also the problem with having only 30 minutes lunch time (sometimes even lesser due to not being able to finish in time etc). The routine of rushing to lunch at 1.15pm and to be back before 1.30pm gets to me at times, especially when the queue is long, or that the food court is packed with people. Random fact: I also wanna to have my sundays off (cos friends always meet up on weekends!) And you won't believe how tired I get after my work! I can literally fall asleep sometimes while waiting for my student. :S

Argh why can't I just get a decent scholarship and stop working/concentrate on my studies!

D: Must really work harder next semester le!

(But I must clarify that my students are so cute sometimes!!! :D)

HOLIDAYS

This 3 months long holidays was like total heaven for me! Can finally take a rest from the very hectic university days I have and finally I'm gonna be a SENIOR soon! :D But it seems like I didn't really rest enough and I really really wanna go overseas D: D: D:

UNIVERSITY

Chose 4 subjects so far and they are all sociology modules! :P

Hope I don't die from overdose of social stuffs. HAHAHAHHAHAHA

Glad to know that I'll have (quite a lot of) friends taking the same modules as me! If not I'll die of boredom next sem w/o anyone accompanying me to lectures~!

I don't know why but I'm so tired.

Been sleeping A LOT these days (around 12 hours/day) but I'm still so exhausted.

Exams finally ended on 5th May at 7pm sharp. :)

Damn sian when the last paper is the evening paper and almost a week away from the 2nd last paper.

Was totally sian 1/2 because my history mod is my worst mod ever this sem!

And it so happens that its my last paper. Don't know whether to be glad to have so much time to study for it, or to be totally pekchek to get my worst paper for my last paper.

The pursuit of happyness.

This blog post will be a series of 3 very different kind of friendships.

Recently I met my friend W coincidentally. It has been a few years of not seeing each other nor contacting each other (except for occasional birthday messages/ goodluck messages); hence it felt rather awkward throughout the whole journey. I felt as if I had travelled back to the first day when I met her, that briefiest period of time spent standing at the same bus stop wearing the same school uniform but yet not knowing each other. That kind of awkwardness; tada, we're back to day one. Ironically we have been almost best of friends for a few years and now we're back to being that pair of strangers that coincidentally crossed paths again. Deja vu. Deep down I know I still care. I still care for that bunch of friends whom I have not met for ages/ years. But its just that everything just fades away over time... Pity that we can never revert back to those days again. Its just me I suppose. Really, its just me.

A few days ago, a long-ago friend of mine, B, smsed me regarding a invitation to their graduation exhibition and it was really a pity that I couldn't go. Reminded of the time that I sent out a email stating that no matter how long that I have not talked to them, they're still, ultimately my friends. And that person replied to say: "Really?" And it really hit me hard and fast. That friendships do change.

Today another long-ago friend, C, smsed me to ask me out for a mini gathering with the others. I really had wanted to go, because I know that it would be to celebrate C's as well as T's belated birthday. I couldn't go, that C most probably knows even before he/she smsed me. But I handled everything wrongly, and it ended off with a very bad misunderstanding...

Friendships changes over time. This I ultimately accept.

Random: I think NUS should be very wealthy (or maybe getting richer by the day) cos we have a lot of money plants in school! HAHA. Especially along the walk to computing from arts. No lah, its because of all the hike in school fees, and hall fees and whatever fees you can think of. -.-" I can't believe that they are going to increase the hall fees again! And can they just stop jacking up prices like mad cos we are already paying soooo much for university fees (despite the government subsidy). Hall fees are like already so much more expensive as compared to pulau NTU already lorh. Sigh. Actually I don't know why I'm ranting that here cos I'm not planning to stay in hall. HAHAHAHA. Full of nonsense sial me. :D

Been super busy trying to cram things into my brain recently.

I'm very worried that I won't be able to cope with everything's that coming along.

4 mid-terms (from 23 feb till 15 march), presentations, and essays...

Overload with work, seriously!!!

And I can't even have a breather during CNY, horrible system.

I really hate the NUS system of having festive seasons holidays to be placed together with recess week!

This means lesser time for us to study and less holidays too!

So unfair!

I really can't believe that I'm 20 now.

How come I still look the same as 8 years back?

But I know that physically I AM GETTING OLD.

And mentally too.

I'm not being that naive as I was a few years back.

Most importantly, I will need to learn to control my temper :)

When I was walking pass a random corridor in school, there was this girl who passed a pamplet to me.
Guess what it says?
